Visiting Yosemite in the Spring is one of my favorite times there when the waterfalls are gushing down. Yosemite is known for its granite and spectacular mountains but its many waterfalls are equally stunning.
Supposedly Jules Verne's "Journey to the Center of the Earth" was based nearby this area in Iceland and I thought of these rock formations as not only fascinating but also like they were guarding this secret and the area.
Perhaps the most beautiful morning in Turnagain Arm of Alaska that I've seen there after visiting it more than a hundred times. I'll always remember this day as a very special one because I got to shoot this sunrise and snowboard amazing powder after.
Somewhere in the river in Prairie Creek Redwoods I managed to find a spot that I haven't seen photographed much before. I call it an accomplishment considering how many visitors go there every year. It is one my favorite places in the world but I try to visit at the quieter times.
Mossbrae Falls in California are a hidden gem and one of my favorite waterfalls anywhere. The lush and green moss is dripping water and you often get nice weather compared to similar scenes in Orgeon and Washington where you deal with rain all the time.
It's as if this old gnarled tree had been here forever. I've made many trips to these spots along the coast of California that are some of my favorite places in the world. This shot ended up being my favorite of all the ones I took there over the years.
